Silver Queen is a very sweet, extremely tender, hybrid corn variety. Ears are 8 to 9 inches long with up to 14 to 16 rows of kernels. For better ear fill, plant a number of short rows together instead of a single long row. This helps ensure pollination.

Sow seeds directly in the garden after all danger of frost is past and soil is warm. Plant 1 seed every 4 inches. Thin to 1 plant every 12 inches when plants are 4 inches tall. Control weeds with a mulch and keep plants well watered, especially when the tops begin to tassel.
