About (From this Label)

Homegrown peas taste so much better than store bought peas! Like snap or green beans, pods and all are consumed! 'Cascadia' is known for its fabulous flavor and abundant harvests. Enjoy eating the whole pod in stir-fries, salads, or as a tasty snack. Serve raw with dip, or stir fry. Short, 30" vines are supportive. Resists powdery mildew and pea enation virus, making it an excellent choice for late summer sowing as well. This packet sows up to 8 feet.

Planting and Care Instructions (From this Label)

Sow outside: RECOMMENDED. 4 to 6 weeks before your average last frost date, when soil temperature is at least 40°F, ideally 60°-80°F, and again 10 to 12 weeks before your average first frost date. In mild climates, sow in fall or winter for winter harvest. Best grown in temperatures less than 85°F. Special germination instructions: Soak seed in water for 12 to 24 hours before sowing; this is not required, but hastens germination.
