How to Plant
Planting and Care Instructions (From this Label)
Sow: To direct sow, plant seeds when the soil reaches 70F. Plant 1" deep, 3' to 4' apart and thin to 8' to 10' apart. To start indoors, plant in peat pots, plant two seeds per pot, later clipping off weaker seedling, then harden off seedlings outdoors over time. A week after the last frost, plant seedlings in very rich in hills of two, 8' to 10' apart. Grow: Cover if the temperature drops below 35F. Keep the soil moist, but avoid getting the leaves wet, which can cause disease. As vines develop, mulch will conserve moisture and control weeds.
